A few photos from the Robb Flynn and Friends Black Sabbath All Star Tribute Benefit for Nikki Davis show at the Oakland Metro on January 17, 2014. These are not the best photos I’ve ever taken, but this was one of those shows where it didn’t really matter, as I was just happy to be there. Words cannot even begin to describe what an amazing night it was. There were so many amazing musicians on stage, but not even the slightest bit of ego. And I don’t think I ever once saw anyone not smiling while they were playing.
I was fortunate enough to know both Nikki and Jeff, and while it’s still very sad for me, it was so nice to see Nikki up on the stage and smiling. You can donate to Nikki’s PayPal account at –
